The Upper Room Discourse

It was before the pass over festival and Jesus knew that His hour had come and he must leave this world and go to the Father. He had always loved His own who were in the world, and now He was to show the full extent of His love.” John 13:1. NEB. “Before the Passover” would have been that week before Thursday night. Jesus had been looking forward to this time with eager anticipation as we note in Luke 22:15. “With desire I have desired to eat this Passover with you before I suffer.” The RSV uses the word “Earnestly” in place of desire. The Greek word from which “desire” is translated is “epithumia” which means “to set the heart upon, i.e. a longing for good or bad things; to crave (rightly or otherwise) sometimes for that which is forbidden. This same Greek word is used in I Pet 1:12: “Which things the angels desire to look into.” In other words they have a pure and righteous longing and craving to look into and understand all the mysteries of the Great Controversy as much as we do.

In the gospel of John, chapters 13 to 18, we find one continuous discourse starting at the Last Supper in the Upper Room and continuing on until Christ, with His disciples, enters the Garden of Gethsemane. As we have already noted Jesus greatly desired to communicate to His disciples how much He loved them and to try and prepare them for the traumatic shock when He would be taken away from them. As we go through this discourse you will see that some of the most profound truths He ever gave were revealed to the disciples in about four hours. The supper probably began about six in the evening and lasted until ten that night when He began His final prayer of agony in the Garden, pleading with His Father to take away the terrible cup of suffering He realized He was now being offered.

Before we begin trying to understand those last hours of His journey to the cross, we need to fully understand who Christ really was. For example, what is the true meaning of the term “Begotten” in John 3:16? “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whoever believes on Him should have eternal life.” “Begotten” is from the Greek word “Monogenes,” meaning “Only Born” or “Single.” But let us define the word “begotten,” which is from “beget.” Webster’s English dictionary defines it as “to generate offspring…especially as a male parent.” “To be the Father of or sire of, to bring into being; produce.”

Jesus has told us that Satan (Lucifer) has been a liar and a murderer from the beginning, John 8:44. One of His biggest lies is that Jesus Christ was not begotten of the Father but has existed from all eternity, equal with the Father in every respect. This would be an outright contradiction of two words: 1. Son, which in its very essence means that He (Jesus) had a Father who existed before Him and “begat” Him. 2. Begotten: which, as we have just noted means that He had a Father who sired Him. “With this in mind, then, I kneel in prayer to the Father, from whom every family in heaven and on earth takes its name, that out of the treasures of His glory He may grant you strength and power through His Spirit in your inner being, that through faith Christ may dwell in your hearts in love. With deep roots and firm foundations, may you be strong to grasp, with all God’s people, what is the breath and length and height and depth of the love of Christ, and to know it, though it is beyond knowledge. So may you attain to fullness of being, the fullness of God Himself.” Eph 3:15-19. NEB.

I was going to quote only vs 15 but as I read the next four verses I realized they also apply to what I am explaining to you about the God family. First of all, the word family is defined by Webster’s as being “Parents, and their children, considered as a group, whether they are dwelling together or not.” Parents mean “A father and a mother.” So, even though the human family has been kidnaped by Satan, holding us hostage, captives here on planet earth now for over 6,000 years humanity in general, do not realize their plight. Nor do they know Jesus has made of escape for them. Why don’t they know this? Because: 1. Most of the human race do not know that they have already been ransomed by the blood of Jesus. And that alone should be reason enough for us to be trying to tell people every day of our lives about the plan of salvation. 2. Those who do know that Jesus died for them have not yet “attained to fullness of being” ready for translation which is going to be a harvest taking place in three stages over a period of seven years. Here is how that will happen. 1. Barley or the Elect, who will be translated first. 2. Wheat: A special group revealed in Rev. 7 & 14 as the 144,000, who are a type, symbolized and represented by the 120 on the day of Pentecost. 3. The Grape Harvest, which will take place at the end of the second 3 ½ years. Rev 14. Also because there are three messages proclaimed by Three Angels, who are proclaiming the Everlasting Gospel to the whole world during those three harvests which follow one after another. The first harvest takes place in one day. The second one in 40 days and the third one take the last 3 ½ years.

Let me say in further explanation that before the Elect (Man child, Rev 12:5) are translated there is a 3 ½ year period during which the Wise or Elect will give the First Angel’s Message. Everything that has been going on here on planet earth since the reformation has only been a dry run, a time of practice, so to speak so we can learn to get it right for that 3 ½ year period of time which will lead up to the Sunday Law Death decree. So, altogether, the final segment of this earth’s history will be a seven year period which is divided into two 3 ½ year periods. The first 3 ½ years will be the Little Time of Trouble and the second 3 ½ years will be the Big Time of Trouble. At the end of that seven year period the millennium or 1,000 years will begin.

In order to be ready for the terrible deceptions that are soon to come on this earth we need to know that beside our Father in heaven we also have a heavenly Mother, who is just as real to us as our Heavenly Father. The Gospel of Thomas also reveals this truth. Throughout the Old Testament the Jews often apostatized by worshiping false Gods. Jeremiah 7 and 44 reveal their worship of the “Queen of Heaven,” obviously a false and counterfeit female deity. The fact of the matter is this: If there is a counterfeit or false Queen of Heaven, there must be a true whom Satan is trying to obscure and hide from all of us by presenting a substitute the same as he substitutes Santa Claus for Jesus and Christmas and Easter for the true Feast days including Sunday for the true 7th Day Sabbath?

So, thus it is that Satan has successfully set up a counterfeit Father and Mother here on earth through the Pope of Rome who has, through the centuries, developed a false theology that Mary, the physical mother of Jesus, ascended to heaven after her death in order to plead with Jesus and His Father to listen to our prayers, which would make her a mediator between God and man, thus subverting and replacing Christ’s work in the Sanctuary as our mediator. They do not realize that Mary is dead, awaiting the resurrection. Ecless 9:5, 6. They now call her a Mediatrix, which is, of course, not only a lie but blasphemy. Dan 7:8, 25 as well as Rev 13:1 and Rev 17:3 predicted this among other crimes that would be committed by this great anti-Christ system known today as the Roman Catholic Church. “So he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness: and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet colored beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns.”

The wilderness is defined in GC 55 as “seclusion and obscurity.” So, this work of blasphemy is being carried on within society itself, yet is not understood or detected as such because the people’s minds are being brainwashed and controlled. This is part of the spiritual darkness that is taking place in these last days which will finally become the 5th plague. “And the fifth angel poured out his vial upon the seat of the beast; and his kingdom was full of darkness; and they gnawed their tongues for pain.” Rev 13:10. Through this false doctrine of Mary (the Marian doctrine) the whole world will be deceived. That is why the Father is now pouring out the true Holy Spirit, Queen Mother (El Shaddai) upon the earth to reveal Her daughter, whose name is Wisdom & the Shekinah Glory in the Old Testament and the Holy Ghost in the New Testament.

“The angel of Mercy was then folding her wings to step down from the golden throne to give place to justice and swift-coming judgment. But Christ’s great heart of love still pleaded for Jerusalem, that had scorned His mercies, despised His warnings, and was about to imbrue her hands in His blood. If Jerusalem would but repent, it was not yet too late. While the last rays of the setting sun were lingering on temple, tower, and pinnacle, would not some good angel lead her to the Saviour’s love, and avert her doom?” Desire of Ages, 578. Remember that only kings and queens have thrones. And this “angel” definitely had a throne she had to abandon when the Jewish nation corporately denied and killed their true Messiah, the true King of this earth and accepted the emperor of Rome at that time, Caesar, as their king. Satan used the Roman government to do this. But the Father permitted due to the fact that the human race were given the power of choice at Creation.

The above quote is from the chapter in the book, “Desire of Ages” entitled, “THY KING COMETH.” This took place on what is known as “Palm Sunday,” one week before the resurrection. Christ riding into Jerusalem that day was specifically done according to the Father’s will and direction because it had been predicted in Isaiah 62:11 and Zech 9:9 that the One who was to be “King” would come meekly “sitting upon an ass, and a colt the foal of an ass.” Jesus was hoping that the leaders of the nation would finally accept Him as their Messiah after all of the miracles He had performed including the crowning act of His ministry, the raising of Lazarus from the dead (John 11) which was witnessed by many who reported it far and wide. But sad to say, “This last appeal to Jerusalem had been in vain. The priests and rulers had heard the prophetic voice of the past echoed by the multitude, in answer to the question, ‘Who is this?’ But they did not accept it as the voice of inspiration.” DA 580.

The Jewish leaders were outraged and tried to silence the people as well as stir the Roman Officers present to arrest Jesus as the leader of a rebellion who was about to take over the temple and reign as king of Jerusalem. But the calm words of Christ moved those soldier’s hearts as they had never been moved before. “In the calm, solemn face of Jesus they read love, benevolence, and quiet dignity. They were stirred by a sympathy they could not understand. Instead of arresting Jesus, they were more inclined to pay Him homage. Turning upon the priests and rulers, they charged them with creating the disturbance. These leaders, chagrined and defeated, turned to the people with their complaints, and disputed angrily among themselves.” DA 581.

Meanwhile Jesus went briefly to the temple looking upon it with sorrowful eyes and then withdrew to Bethany with His disciples. When the people looked for Him to place Him on the throne, He was nowhere to be found. His heart was aching so He did what He had always done, He sought His Father. “The entire night Jesus spent in prayer, and in the morning He came again to the temple.” This would be Monday. Luke 19:43, 44 are the last two verses that comment on the Triumphal entry, His weeping over the city of Jerusalem and going into the temple to cast out the money changers. In any attempt to calculate the day Jesus was arrested, put on trial and crucified one has to keep in mind that the Jews counted part of a day as whole day. Thus “With the betrayal falling on Thursday night, Jewish reckoning would, accordingly, indicate Wednesday as the day on which Christ spoke these words. In the year A. D. 31 the 14th day of Nisan, the day on which the Passover was slain, fell on Friday.” BC 5 – 516.

As Jesus sat down with His 12 disciples for the last time in that upper room He was more serious than they had ever seen Him before and His desire for them to understand who He was and what lay just ahead of them was also greater than ever before. But their minds were occupied with their own selfish ambitions. They were all excited because they were sure their Lord was about to make His move to take over the temple for sure this time and proclaim Himself the rightful King of Israel and sit upon the throne of David. He was so close to it a few days previous, on Palm Sunday, when He rode into Jerusalem. If only the priests had been more understanding and receptive it could have happened then. They figured Jesus was just biding His time, waiting until the Passover when more people would be in Jerusalem to support His bid to establish Himself as the King of the Jews. Then He wouldn’t need the priests approval. It would be done by popular demand. These were no doubt some of the thoughts that were racing through their minds. They were also arguing about who would have the highest place when the kingdom would be established. Each of them no doubt felt that they had already earned a special place in the coming kingdom just by virtue of the fact that they had been with Him each step of the way for the past 3 ½ years.

Those who wish to count each day as a 24 hour period believe the Last Supper was on Wed night. But let me share some insight on this from Luke 24 which may help. “Now upon the first day of the week, very early in the morning, they came unto the sepulcher, bringing the spices which they had prepared, and certain others, with them. And they found the stone rolled away from the sepulcher.” Lk 24:1, 2. Now, let us go on to another vs in this same chapter. “And, behold, two of them went that same day to a village called Emmaus, which was from Jerusalem about threescore furlongs.” A furlong is 607 English feet or a little less than 7 miles. By road about 8 miles. See DA 795. Notice the phrase “that same day,” which was still the first day of the week. Now let’s go to vs 21. “But we trusted that it had been he which should have redeemed Israel: and beside all this, TODAY IS THE THIRD DAY SINCE THESE THINGS WERE DONE.” What day is Cleopas saying “Today is the Third Day?” It was the first day of the week or our Sunday. So, let us start with Sunday and count back. Sunday is day 3. Saturday would be day 2. And Friday would have to be day 1.

It was near Sundown when Cleopas said that, so that day (Sunday the 3rd day) had been about 22 or 23 hours. Sabbath was a full 24 hours. But Friday was not a full day because they put him on the cross between 8 and 9 in the morning which was the third hour of day since 6:00 a.m. If you wish to start counting when they arrested Him in the Garden, Thursday night, then you would almost have 72 hours because you would start counting at sundown Thursday which would actually be Friday, the 6th day. But “these things” primarily were referring to the trial before Pilate and crucifixion itself. The SOP also agrees with the traditional idea of a Friday crucifixion and the resurrection just before dawn of the first day of the week. DA 779. I just wanted to insert that in here because I have been planning to share that for a long time but just never got around to it. Now, let’s go back to the events leading up to the Last Supper.

Jesus time on earth was growing to a close and yet the Jewish leaders had not yet accepted him. But as much of a disappointment as that was to Jesus, the fact that His own disciples still did not understand the nature and spirit of the kingdom and how it would be established, hurt Him even more. For example, some of the disciples evidently were carrying swords with them, as indicated in Luke 22:36. “Here are two swords.” From His remark “It is enough” they thought that He was recommending they buy some swords which was not what He meant at all because He later rebuked Peter for using the sword in the Garden of Gethsemane. What He meant by saying “It is enough” was “That’s enough conversation about that.” In addition to that the deeper and symbolic meaning of what He said re: “buying a sword” and then quoting an OT prophecy about Himself simply was meant to warn them that “Danger is eminent.” And he warned them about them by telling them to pray that they would not enter into temptation. But, He also knew that all of the prophecies about Him were conditional, especially the one concerning His rejection and crucifixion by the leaders of the nation. That is why He tried so hard to persuade and convince them that He was the Messiah and that the only way the kingdom could be and would be established was on the basis of righteous principles. In order for that to happen they needed to repent and change their ways. But no matter how many evidences He gave, or proof of His divinity He revealed to them time after time, they still refused to surrender to His loving invitations to come to Him and be saved. “I said therefore unto you, that you shall die in your sins: for if you believe not that I am He (the Messiah) you shall die in your sins.” John 8:24. How much plainer could it be. He also was continually reading their minds in addition to healing whole villages and raising the dead and cleansing the lepers and curing the blind and the lame. There must have been thousands of people as living testimonies and witnesses including Lazarus who led the procession into Jerusalem on Palm Sunday which is called the “Triumphal Entry or procession into Jerusalem.”

But the other problem was that His own disciples did not have the right attitude or spirit. We read in Mark 10:13 that His disciples rebuked those (probably mothers) that brought their children for Jesus to touch them. “But when Jesus saw it, He was much displeased, and said unto them, Suffer the little children to come unto me, and forbid them not; for of such is the kingdom of God.” The very next event Mark records is the Rich Young Ruler who came to Jesus asking “Master, what shall I do that I may inherit eternal life?” Mark 10:17. Of course, we know the story of how this very wealthy young man went away sad when Jesus told him to go and sell all of his possessions and to come and follow Him. But the disciples were really shocked and blown away when Jesus told them how hard it is for rich people to enter into the kingdom of God. “And they were astonished out of measure, saying among themselves, Who then can be saved?” Vs 26. Jesus assured them that with God all things are possible. Then in vs 28 Peter, speaking for the all 12 of them, said “Lo, we have left all, and have followed you.” The implication is, “well, Lord, if that is the case what is our reward going to be?” Christ’s answer is often quoted for proof that if we follow Him we will be blessed beyond anything we can imagine. “He shall receive an hundredfold now in this time, houses, and brethren, and sisters, and mothers, and children, and lands, with persecutions; and in the world (Age) to come eternal life.” Question: How much is One Hundred Fold? Well two fold means twice as much or the number two doubled which is 2 squared or 2 x 2=4. So, how much is 100 x 100? It is 10,000 %. What blessings the Lord wants to give us that we know nothing about. But remember that He said, “With persecutions.”

But let us not miss the point in all of this like the disciples did. They did not realize, at that time, how blessed they were to be with Jesus. The pleasure of His company is something they did not truly appreciate and fully realize until after the resurrection and His ascension up to heaven. And this must have grieved our Lord. Notice what He followed up with after the 100 fold statement. “But many that are first shall be last; and the last first.” Mark 10:31. Then in the next three verses Jesus sets His face to go up to Jerusalem which both amazed and terrified the disciples. “And He took again the twelve, and began to tell them what things should happen unto Him,” which included being arrested, put on trial, mocking Him, scourging Him and killing Him by crucifixion. In spite of this warning James’ and John’s mother came to Christ worshiping Him and asking that her sons be given the honor of sitting next to Him in the coming kingdom. Jesus told them that honor was not His to give. This very selfish request really stirred up a hornet’s next of jealous envy among the ten. “And when the ten heard it, they began to be much displeased with James and John.” Mark 10:41. This prompted Jesus to tell them they must not be like the Gentiles who are always trying to lord it over their fellow men. Instead, whosoever will be great among you, shall be servant of all just as the Son of Man has come to minister to all and give His life for the salvation of the world.

So we can see that the disciples were not at all spiritually aligned with their Lord, whom they called Master, but in reality knew Him not. Thus they were unprepared for the crisis that awaited them in Jerusalem after the Last Supper. So, let’s go now to that Last Supper itself where we see Jesus washing the disciple’s feet because none of them were willing to humble themselves to do it. Even John did not volunteer. This must have had a humbling effect upon them because we see them asking Jesus some serious questions about what He meant by “going away,” for example. John 14. He told them not to be afraid because He was going back to His Father’s house to “prepare a place” for them. It is interesting that the Greek word for “place” is topos which can also be translated “condition.” So what I believe Jesus was trying to explain to His disciples was that He was returning to His Father in order to prepare the right conditions for them to be accepted in heaven. Satan’s many false accusations had to be answered in the heavenly council meetings in order to prepare the minds of the angels as well as the unfallen inhabitants of the various planets to not be afraid to welcome the human race into the courts of heaven and sisterhood of planets. In chapter 15 of John He explained that He was the Vine and they were the branches and His Father the husbandman. At some point they left the Upper Room and began walking to the Garden of Gethsemane. “In company with His disciples, the Saviour slowly made His way to the garden of Gethsemane. The Passover moon, broad and full, shone from a cloudless sky. The city of pilgrims’ tents was hushed into silence.” DA 681.

So, it must have been about 10:00 P.M.. In just two hours the mob will come to the Garden, led by Judas, to arrest the Saviour. The final countdown has begun. But before they reach the Garden something happens that both surprises and excites Jesus. He knows that all of the prophecies of the Old Testament are conditional. Both the blessings and the curses are conditional, dependent upon man’s choice. We have already seen this from the words of Jesus as He paused on the brow of the hill overlooking Jerusalem and wept, saying, “If only you had known, on this great day, the way that leads to peace! But no; it is hidden from your sight.” Luke 19:41. But did He turn around and say “I quit….just go ahead and go to perdition, you stupid, hypocritical and ungrateful murderers.” No, Divine Love would not allow that so He rode on into Jerusalem and cleansed the temple then went out and prayed all night for them. That truly is Divine Love. But there is more…read and listen to the profound depth of eternal love in this quote we have already read but need to read over and over again until we truly comprehend the depth of its message for us today in this final hour.

In the light of this undying hope what did Jesus do as He walked toward the Garden? He was still trying to help His disciples understand His mission because they still didn’t get it. But no one else did either so He felt all alone. In John 16:16 Jesus tells them, “A little while, and you see me no more; again a little while, and you will see me.” So the disciples were discussing this among themselves as to what He actually meant. And I think that is a good question for us today as well.

He had already told them that He was going to be arrested, put on trial and crucified so why isn’t He talking about that now? Because He is hoping that He can still avert this terrible crime and the disaster it will bring upon the nation. He does not have a selfish bone in His body nor a selfish motive or thought. He only cares about His people whom He loves with the same eternal passion the Father has for us. Their discussion of what He said that they would be sad for a little while gave Him renewed hope. Of course, we know now that He had a dual purpose because whether the Jewish nation changed their mind and accepted Him or put Him on trial and killed Him He was still going to return to the Father. As I have explained already, all the prophecies are conditional. We know that from the book of Jonah. Jonah predicted that Nineveh would be destroyed but when they repented the city was spared. Also the prophecy against Ahab was delayed because he repented. I Kings 21:15-29. Also Isa. 38 in regard to the prophecy that King Hezekiah would die.

So Jesus discusses His mysterious words with them for awhile and ends up saying “‘Till now I have been using figures of speech (proverbs); a time is coming when I shall no longer use figures, but tell you of the Father in plain words….Now I am leaving the world again and going to the Father.” Now notice the positive response and affirmation of all 11 of His disciples at these words. “His disciples said, ‘Why, this is plain speaking; this is no figure of speech. We are certain now that you know everything, and do not need to be questioned; because of this we believe that you have come from God.” This wonderful affirmation of total acceptance and belief truly thrilled the Saviour’s heart. When Peter stated His affirmation of faith in Matt 16 he was speaking for himself. But now all of His disciples are making this affirmation in their total faith and belief in Him. Remember that they are still en route to the Garden. I believe that He now stops and gives them a warning that they will all be scattered and leave Him alone but this does not have to happen. That is why He warned them three times in the Garden to pray with Him so that they would not fail the test by “entering into temptation.” They didn’t have to abandon Him like they did. That is why He asked them to pray so they would not become fearful and run away. But now let us go into this famous prayer recorded for all time in John 17 just before He entered the Garden.

“After these words Jesus looked up to heaven and said: ‘Father, the hour has come. Glorify thy Son, that the Son may glorify thee. For thou hast made him sovereign over all mankind, to give eternal life to all whom thou hast given him. This is eternal life: to know thee who alone art truly God, and Jesus Christ whom thou has sent.” Who is this “Son” Jesus is talking about? Who is He referring to?

We have always thought Jesus was talking about Himself when He says “Glorify thy Son.” But that is not true. Christ is not referring to Himself directly but only indirectly, which I will explain later on. First I need to explain several things. The Father had already glorified Jesus three times. 1. At His baptism when the Dove came down and not only joined Him but anointed Him by going inside of Him, filling Him with the Holy Ghost. And a voice from heaven or the sky spoke saying “This is my beloved Son.” This was the voice of the Mother because Jesus said in John 5:37 no one has ever heard the voice of the Father or seen His shape. So, it had to be His Mother who called Him “My beloved Son.” 2. On the Mount of Transfiguration Jesus was again glorified when He shined like the sun and Moses and Elijah appeared to Him. 3. In John 12:23 we read: “The hour is come, that the Son of man should be glorified.” In response, a voice said: “I have both glorified it, and will glorify it again.” It does not say this was the voice of the Father but simply “A voice.” And notice Jesus referred to Himself as “The Son of Man,” not just “Son.” So, who is this “Son” Jesus is asking the Father to glorify? It is the human race from Adam, in the person of His eleven disciples, who have just made this wonderful affirmation.

Let me explain in more detail why I believe this. Jesus represented the human race in bodily form. In the book of Hebrews, chapters 2 and 10 as well as other places Paul talks about how Jesus was made like us. “A body (human) hast thou prepared for Me.” This is the incarnation. After the resurrection He still had a body but it was different because it was no longer subject to death and He could pass from one dimension to another like the angels and like I believe Adam was able to do before the fall. This is a great mystery because we have not yet experienced this, shall we say, fourth dimension of reality. We live in a dimension of darkness whereas God and all of the angelic realm and unfallen, sinless inhabitants of the universe live in this glorious realm of light and beauty and endless happiness and joy where no one ever gets sick or dies and nothing ever wears out or decays.

Before this earth was formed by Michael and Gabrielle, through their Father and Mother and before Adam and Eve were created out of nothing, as we read in Genesis 1, we are told that the Father explained to His only begotten Son (Michael or Jesus) that if anything happened to this planet and to the new creatures that were about to be made, a plan of salvation would need to be in place for a rescue mission. “The plan for our redemption was not an afterthought, a plan formulated after the fall of Adam. It was a revelation of ‘the mystery which hath been kept in silence through times eternal.’ Rom 16:25. R.V. The KJV says, ‘The revelation of the mystery, which was kept secret since the world began.’ It was an unfolding of the principles that from eternal ages have been the foundation of God’s throne. From the beginning, God and Christ knew of the apostasy of Satan, and of the fall of man through the deceptive power of the apostate. God did not ordain that sin should exist, but He foresaw its existence, and made provision to meet the terrible emergency. So great was His love for the world, that He covenanted to give His only-begotten Son, ‘that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” John 3:16.

Now, I am going to share and explain some things to you I have never written about before although I have been talking to some of my friends and supporters about it for the last few weeks and months. On March 18th of this year, 2007, Gabrielle spoke to me. I immediately knew that it was her because of her voice and personality. I also think that when she reveals herself to a person you just automatically know she is your true Mother like a baby knows who its mother is. You can call it “instinct” if you want. All I know is that I immediately knew it was Gabrielle because when a friend told me that Gabrielle had appeared to him in a dream I was surprised. My first thought was, “well, she must have a desire to make herself known at this very time.” I had been writing about her and Michael as a theological concept. It never occurred that she would reveal herself to us like she did Daniel and Zechariah. Those were very scary experiences for both of them but most informative. I wondered if I would be shocked and terrified if Jesus or Gabrielle appeared to me? But I was impressed to pray to the Father and let Him know that if Gabrielle was trying to make contact with human beings in order to reveal the truth about her and Michael that I would give my permission to the Father for Gabrielle to make contact with me.

Nick was the 40+ year old man in Lincoln, Nebraska who wrote the article about Gabrielle appearing to him some time back. He drove me in his van from Lincoln, Nebraska to 3 ABN and then onto Iowa. We passed out a lot of my books, “INTO THE FATHER’S HEART” there. That was Nick’s idea, not mind. He actually wanted them to do an interview with me about the book but I told him something like that would have to be scheduled ahead of time. But I finally agreed to and visit 3ABN in Southern Illinois and it turned out to be a blessing because of the many good contacts and the books we were able to leave. We even visited Jan Marcussen’s place and gave some books out to the people who work for him. I also was able to speak to him briefly on the phone while we were there visiting with his secretary and workers.

On that two day trip I explained to him the theological facts about Michael and Gabrielle from the book of Daniel and all the information I have shared in this article. He told me later that he had not known who the angel was who had appeared to him in the dream until I starting telling him about Michael and Gabrielle. As soon as I gave my permission for Gabrielle to make contact with me the Lord said, “If you want her to make contact you have to go on a fast.” Well, I don’t like fasting anymore than the majority of people. Some people do seem to enjoy it but for me it is hard. But when the Lord supernaturally supplied me with a book on fasting I decided to try and go beyond my previous record of five days. And this time I did go for 9 ½ days and it was easier than I thought. The fast ended on Feb 4th, 2007. And Gabrielle made contact with me on March 18th 2007. Don’t ask me how I knew but I did because she revealed herself to me as a mother. And it was different than the voice of Jesus and the Father whom I have heard all my life, since a child, although I did not realize it was actually the Lord speaking to me when I was a child. But I was always aware of a Divine, supernatural Presence with me, making itself known.

As the years passed by this Presence became more real to me as I studied for the ministry and began working for the Lord as a teenager and later as a colporteur, church school teacher and pastor-evangelist. Each year I studied and learned more and more and each year I became more attuned to God’s Presence and voice in my mind. And my prayer life became more frequent and intense, so much so that I began going into the woods and praying for more power. The reason I did this was because one day when I was driving from Victoria, Texas, to El Campo sometime in 1969 the Lord gave me a vision of the lost. In this vision I saw a great mass of humanity, thousands and thousands of people who were in great misery and suffering. They were weeping and crying out for help. It was so overwhelming that I just broke down and began weeping so hard that I had to pull off the side of the road because I could no longer see well enough through my tears to drive safely.

This was what drove me into the woods to begin praying for more power. I had prayed in the woods before after I graduated from college and was sick and later when I was in the U.S. Army I would find secluded places to meditate and pray. It always made me feel stronger, cleaner and happier. But now my prayer life began taking on a new direction and focus. I wasn’t praying for better health or for a wife like I did in college; Instead I was now praying for more power and wisdom to know how to help all of these dying masses of people I had seen in this vision which made me so sad. I had this terrible burden to try and reach out and try to help them by telling them about Jesus because the voice had told me, “Michael, these are my people but they don’t know me. Please help Me to reach them so they will know that I love them and want to take away their fears and doubts and heal their sin sickness.” So, this is how it all began about 1969 when I was a district pastor in Texas. This is what motivated me to begin a radio broadcast on KULP in El Campo, Texas every Sunday. The church paid the $30 a month for that time. A few months later the Lord impressed me to go on the 50,000 watt Giant of the Southwest, KCTA out of Corpus Christi, Texas. So, my family and I drove down there in May of 1970 to see the station and find out the cost and time and what all was involved. Virginia Mendez was the sect and told me that two times were open, 6:15 to 6:30 and 7:15 to 7:30. I chose 6:15 a.m. because the signal reached out to 26 states that early in the morning. That was really exciting to think that I would be able to preach to thousands, perhaps millions of people in half the USA. It was a big change from preaching to only 15 or 20, sometimes 35 or 40 people on the Sabbath day in the little churches I was pastoring there in Victoria and El Campo. The cost for that 15 min slot was only $10.00 a broadcast. So, I agreed and signed up without even having a microphone or tape recorder.

I was told that I could drive the 70 miles to the station at Corpus Christi and prepare two weeks of programs ahead of time. So, that is what I did to begin with until I found a small, old Philco reel to reel tape recorder on which to tape my sermons. A relative had given it to us and I never liked it much but it ended up being the one the Lord had chosen and prepared for me to use to record all my sermons on for the next year.

During the drive back to Victoria I was trying to think of a different name for the program. Up to that time I had called it “THE VOICE OF TRUTH.” But now I was impressed to give it a new name but just could not think of anything at all. My mind was a blank. The harder I tried to come up with something original the more stressful it became until my brain began to go on overload and I got a headache. Then suddenly out of the blue I heard this voice speaking to me loud and clear. “THE LAST CALL.” I turned to my wife Sharon and asked her, “Did you hear that?” She said she hadn’t heard anything. Nor did my three little children in the back seat hear anything either. They were only 7, 5 and 2 years old at the time. So, I decided that God was speaking to me directly, by myself, in the privacy of my own mind, giving me the exact name He wanted for this new nation wide radio outreach. Little by little He revealed His will to me and although it was very hard at times I always knew that He was with me. I began preaching almost all of my sermons without notes, speaking extemporaneously from my heart to the people out there in radio land, as I referred to them…all those millions of unknown suffering faces I had seen in my vision. Later, in 1973, when I was invited to host a call in talk show in Portland on KLIQ, to answer Bible questions on the air live, I hesitated, wondering if I would be able to answer the questions correctly. Well, the very first day I was on the air live the Lord gave me the answers to every question before the caller even finished asking the question. He would even give me the text of Scripture He wanted me to read in addition to forming the thoughts in my mind that He desired for me to speak to the person. No one was more amazed then I was myself. But God has promised us guidance. “And your ears shall hear a word behind you, saying, This is the way, walk you in it, when you turn to the right hand, and when you turn to the left.” Isaiah 30:21. “Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know.” Jer. 33:3. For those who trust Him now this promise will be fulfilled not only in this life but in the life to come. Listen: “And it shall come to pass, that before they call, I will answer; and while they are yet speaking, I will hear.” Isa 65:24.

Earlier tonight I asked my two youngest children Michael,10 and Stacey, 7 if they remembered what I had told them about Gabrielle. “Yes, she is our true Mother,” they both said. “Very good. I am so glad you remembered. Well, I have a question for you. Do you remember when we were at the coliseum on March 18?” Oh, yes, they remembered. “Well, Gabrielle began talking to me as soon as we got inside those doors and I started crying.” “Yes, Daddy, we know. We saw the tears in your eyes.” And all this time I didn’t think they knew because I was trying to suppress it because I was out in public and did not want people to see me crying, especially my children, as this sometimes upset them but it also fascinates them as well. What she told me that night was so real and I understood exactly what she was telling me telepathically in my mind but to put it into actual words takes some effort. What I remember is that after we got set down in our seats I passed out my book “INTO THE FATHER’S HEART” to two people who accepted it with gratitude and said they really wanted to read it. I get this a lot with so many people I could write a large book about all the experiences I have had this past year.

Anyway, we were about 15 minutes early so the game had not yet started. As I realize now this was the chance the Lord had been waiting for to send this beautiful “Angel of Mercy” (DA 578) to speak to me. She only had a few minutes to make contact with me as I sat there not having a clue that she was to change my life so dramatically. It truly has never been the same since. So as I was sitting there in my seat she started talking to me again, directing my attention down on the court where some teen age cheer leaders were warming up, going through their routines which including doing cartwheels and back flips, etc. They were very talented. Most of them were African Americans. I realize now that is what she wanted me to see and focus on…those cheer leaders. Then, suddenly she begins talking to me again. “Michael, look at those little girls down there. Those are my girls…my babies, but they don’t even know me…that I am their true mother.” And then it was just like she burst out sobbing and crying uncontrollably. And then I started crying again myself with so much suppressed emotion because I was in public with my kids. But I felt so sorry for her and also guilty that I was suppressing my sympathy for her.

Of course, I realized that very possibly everyone in the coliseum that night was in the dark about who their true mother really is. Again she was pleading with me to help her get the message to all her “babies” that she is their real and true mother. I wondered how many of the people sitting there that night believed in Mary, if they believed anything at all. And my first thought was how hard it would be to convince any of them who did believe in Mary that she was not their true mother. That seemed like a daunting task. The hardest one I felt that I had ever been asked to do. But there was something else she told me that she just reminded me about and that is this: “Michael, if you will help me reach all of my lost children I will open every door for you. The Father has promised to help me get all of my children back but people like you are the only means by which I can do it. I will give you anything and everything you need to help me accomplish this mission.”

Of course, she could read my mind…knew what I was thinking… “How in the world am I ever going to be able to accomplish something like that?!” So, that is why she told me that…to give me the courage I needed to begin thinking and contemplating how to go about getting the message out to everyone about who their true Mother really is. It also occurred to me that a very big media push for Mary is being planned for the future…beyond anything that has ever been done before. And this is why the Father is sending her at this very time to prepare us for the coming battle.

She only had a short time to speak to me because as soon as the announcer started talking to welcome everyone to the game that night I lost contact with her. I couldn’t hear her voice anymore because my attention was diverted to the worldly event that was about to begin. They began introducing the players for each team…The Portland Trail Blazers and the Seattle Sonics.

Immediately I realized how easy it is to lose contact with the voice of the Spirit of God. But I will say that all through the years whenever I have been in a large crowd the Lord always speaks to me about how He wants me to tell everyone about Him. He has always done that.

And now Gabrielle is telling me the same thing. That was my first awareness of her presence in my life although I am sure she has been with me since I was born. I did not see her physically, like my friend did in his dream, but in my mind I know she is just the most wonderful person you could ever imagine, so kind and beautiful of a person, so wonderfully charismatic in every way possible so that every second you are with her it is just so wonderful and you never want her to leave you.

And you just treasure every single word and look in her eyes and expression on her face. What I remember the most about her is that her voice was filled such deep feeling and emotion for her children, those girls down on the court that night calling them, as I said, her “babies.” It just blew me away. I have not been the same since. In fact, for the next two weeks all I could think about was what she told me and the glory of her presence. I had no desire to watch any TV or read a secular newspaper for fear I would lose that wonderful feeling that I had. But slowly everything returned to “normal” and yet it was not the same because slowly I have realized that the Father used her contact with me that night to awaken me to His Presence through Her so as to heighten my awareness of the God family and the work He has chosen me to do. It was like she went inside of me and totally and thoroughly cleansed me from the inside out.

To become aware of that Presence is very powerful because it guides you day and night. This is what Jesus had throughout His life from the day He was born. But when He was 12 years old He became aware that He had been born for a special reason and purpose. And the same thing happens to each person who will listen to the that same voice. She desires to speak to everyone but only a few will listen. Nick saw her in his dream and this is exactly the way he described her too. So, I have that confirmation at this time plus one other person who also hears her voice all the time too. I believe there will be others as time goes along because this is just the beginning.

All that I have been explaining here in my own experience is level 6, the feminine image of God moving to imprint herself upon our hearts and minds in preparation for level #7, Transformation and Translation. Romans 12:1, 2. When she is able to make contact and go inside of a person the transformation of that individual has begun and will continue on until that person is ready for translation in the future at the time the Father has appointed it to happen. So, this is extremely important to understand so you will not frustrate the process but be open and willing for it to take place in your life the same as it did in the life of Jesus. There is so much more I need to explain to you before I get to the main point of what happened between Jesus and His eleven disciples on that very special and magical night of the last supper. But for now, let us go back to the beginning of Jesus’ experience at the Jordan.

In the chapter “The Baptism” in Desire of Ages, the servant of the Lord gives us wonderful clues as to what happened at Jesus’ baptism. It is so very important that we understand what happened when He was anointed by the Holy Ghost who is the same as the Shekinah glory and Wisdom in Proverbs (especially 8:22-31) and all through the Old Testament. Shakan is the Hebrew word for “dwell.” This is when the Dove, who is the same as Wisdom, unites with Jesus and goes inside of Him, indwelling and filling Him with Her very presence…the presence of the Holy Ghost through which the whole God family was with Him. “For in Him dwells all the fulness of the Godhead bodily. And you are complete in Him, which is the head of all principality and power.” Colossians 2:9, 10.

Why is this so important? Because this same Holy Ghost filled and indwelt those 120 disciples in the Upper Room on the day of Pentecost, Acts 2. That was the Early Rain. The Latter Rain in our day will be even more glorious. And we can be partakers of it right now today. Just as Jesus represented the Father’s will to the nation of Israel at that time, as well as the whole world, so we are also to be His representatives to God’s professed people first of all and then to the religious communities wherever we live and finally to the whole world. The message is to move outward like ripples in a pond expanding out in ever widening circles of blessing.

Now, let’s read this statement because it applies to each of us today who are to become His spokesmen in our present world as we approach the final crisis of the ages. “Upon coming up out of the water, Jesus bowed in prayer on the river bank. A new and important era was opening before Him. He was now, upon a wider stage, entering on the conflict of His life. Though He was the Prince of Peace, His coming must be as the unsheathing of a sword. (Can you imagine it? That is why He said that He had come not to bring peace but a sword). The kingdom He had come to establish was the opposite of that which the Jews desired. He who was the foundation of the ritual and economy of Israel would be looked upon as its enemy and destroyer. He who had proclaimed the law upon Sinai would be condemned as a transgressor. He who had come to break the power of Satan would be denounced as Beelzebub. No one upon earth had understood Him, and during His ministry He must still walk alone. Throughout His life His mother and His brothers did not comprehend His mission. Even His disciples did not understand Him. He had dwelt in eternal light, so one with God, but His life on earth must be spent in solitude….The Saviour’s glance seems to penetrate heaven as He pours out His soul in prayer. Well He knows how sin has hardened the hearts of men, and how difficult it will be for them to discern His mission, and accept the gift of salvation. He pleads with the Father for power to overcome their unbelief, to break the fetters with which Satan has enthralled them, and in their behalf to conquer the destroyer. He asks for the witness that God accepts humanity in the person of His Son.” DA 112.

This is the very first step toward re-connecting and restoring the image of the whole God family into humanity as it had been created with the first man, Adam and His wife Eve. Because they were the off-spring of Michael and Gabrielle (through the Father & Mother) Michael creating Adam in His very own image and likeness and Gabrielle creating Eve in her very own image and likeness. Therefore, it would of necessity, require both Michael and Gabrielle to work together in this 3 ½ year mission of restoration. And this is when we see the dove coming down upon Christ (Michael) at the time of His baptism in the Jordan river. Later when Jesus was teaching in the temple the Jews (scribes & Pharisees) were astounded at His ability to teach. “When the Feast was already half over, Jesus went up into the temple [court] and began to teach. The Jews were astonished. They said, How is it that this Man has learning [Is so versed in the sacred Scriptures and in theology] when He has never studied?” What they meant was “studied under us.” The Hebrew scriptures before 900 A.D. were written without vowels or spaces. So, only those who went to the schools of the Rabbis learned the art of reading the Hebrew Bible. But because Jesus was filled with the Holy Ghost, He had received “All the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.” Col 2:3.

On the day of Pentecost the same thing happened to the 120 and all those who were baptized from that point on with the Holy Ghost. Stephen is an example. “And Stephen, full of faith and power, did great wonders and miracles among the people.” Acts 6:8. Peter and all the apostles received great power to preach and perform miracles among the people. That was the Former Rain. The Latter Rain will be even greater. These wonderful results of the in filling of the Holy Ghost lasted until the end of the first century and then it faded away and the church began to go into apostasy and the dark ages. Now, since the Reformation the church has been coming out into the age of the Holy Ghost again and our generation is to be the greatest recipients of this gift. Now, let’s go to Jesus’ baptism.

“Never before have the angels listened to such a prayer. They are eager to bear to their loved Commander a message of assurance and comfort. But no; the Father Himself will answer the petition of His Son. Direct from the throne issue the BEAMS OF HIS GLORY. (And what or who is the Father’s glory? It is His spouse, the Mother of Michael & Gabrielle who is sent to speak on behalf of her husband, Yahweh). The heavens are opened, and upon the Saviour’s head descends a dovelike form of purest light,—fit emblem of Him, the meek and lowly One. Of the vast throng at the Jordan, few except John discerned the heavenly vision. Yet the solemnity of the divine Presence rested upon the assembly. The people stood silently gazing upon Christ. His form was bathed in the light that ever surrounds the throne of God. His upturned face was glorified as they had never before seen the face of man. From the open heaven a voice was heard saying, ‘This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.” DA 112. Note: The light that surrounds the throne is a rainbow. “And round the throne was a rainbow, bright as an emerald.” Rev 4:3. In my commentary on Revelation I explain in detail with much proof that the rainbow and all of nature is always in the feminine gender representing the glory of God, the Mother and Daughter of the Most High. Emerald, for example is a feminine color.

In John 5:37 we read that no one has ever “Heard His voice at any time, nor seen His shape.” Therefore, it would have to have been the Mother (El Shaddai) who spoke at this time saying, “This is my beloved Son.” “And the word that was spoken to Jesus at the Jordan, ‘This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased,’ embraces humanity, God spoke to Jesus as our representative.” DA 113.

At the close of this same book on the life of Christ we read these words about the power and intent of the gospel. “The gospel is to be presented, not as a lifeless theory, but as a living force to change the life. God desires that the receivers of His grace shall be witnesses to its power….He would have us bear testimony to the fact that He cannot be satisfied until the human race are reclaimed and reinstated in their holy privileges as His Sons and daughters.” DA 826.

And on the Mount of Transfiguration Moses and Elijah appeared to Jesus and His three disciples after Christ prayed for hours for a display of Divine glory to encourage and prove to His disciples that He truly was of Divine origin. “He prays for strength to endure the test in behalf of humanity. He must Himself gain a fresh hold on Omnipotence, for only thus can He contemplate the future. And He pours out His heart longings for His disciples, that in the hour of the power of darkness their faith may not fail. The dew is heaven upon His bowed form, but He heeds it not. The shadows of night gather thickly about Him but He rega5rds not their gloom. So the hours pass slowly by.” DA 420.

Jesus had taken Peter, James and John with Him so they might pray with Him. He has told them of His sufferings. Because of their sadness and gloom regarding the future Jesus wants to give them some kind of assurance that their faith has not been in vain. Only these three have been chosen because they alone of the twelve disciples can receive the revelation. These are the same three who will witness His anguish later in the Garden when He sweats blood. The burden of His prayer is for the Father to reveal a manifestation of the glory He had with the Father before the world was, that His kingdom may be revealed to human eyes so their faith will be strengthened for the crisis ahead. He prays that they may understand that His coming death truly is a part of the plan of redemption. After many hours He breaks through the dark dimension of this earth and the glory and splendor of the City of God shine down upon Him. His countenance shines like the sun and even His garments are white as the light. The disciples wake up and see Moses and Elijah talking to their Lord. But they misinterpret why they have come. “They believe that Elijah has come to announce the Messiah’s reign, and that the kingdom of Christ is about to be set up on the earth. …The disciples are confident that Moses and Elijah have been sent to protect their Master, and to establish His authority as king. But before the crown must come the cross. Not the inauguration of Christ as king, but the decease to be accomplished at Jerusalem, is the subject of their conference with Jesus…These men, chosen above every angel around the throne, had come to commune with Jesus concerning the scenes of His suffering, and to comfort Him with the assurance of the sympathy of heaven. The hope of the world, the salvation of every human being, was the burden of their interview.” DA 424, 425.

Now, let’s go back to the Dove that descends upon Him at the time of His baptism. Who is this Dove. Let me share with you what I have already written about this in my last book, “A Commentary on Revelation,” in which I am explaining how the Father has always been in charge.

“The eternal Almighty has not been unseated, driven out or overcome. The colors surrounding and encircling this throne are important. “He who sat there appeared like [the crystalline brightness of] jasper and [the fiery] sardius, and encircling the throne there was a halo that looked like [a rainbow of] emerald, [Ezek. 1:28]. The color emerald signifies three things. 1. Hope. 2. Mercy, which is a feminine characteristic. 3. Emerald, which is also a feminine color as is Beryl, both being feminine names. In Dan 10:6 we read that Gabrielle’s body “was like a beryl.” Now John is going to see what is about to happen in the near future. If the book of Revelation is a guide book for the last segment of time, 3 ½ + 3 ½ =7 years, then what John wrote is what we need to know right now. The rainbow represents “the glory of God.” Paul says “the woman is the glory of the man.” I Cor 11:7. And so it is that the feminine counterpart of a man is his wife. Mankind or the human race, made in the very likeness and image (character) of God reflects the glory of God. We know from Gen 1:26 that Adam was made in the image of Jesus. So, in whose image was Eve, the female, created? This is a question that has not been answered because no one has thought to ask it. Does the Father have a wife or spouse? Does Jesus, the Son of God, have a wife? Paul answers this question in Eph 3:15: “For Whom every family in heaven and on earth is named [that Father from Whom all fatherhood takes its title and derives its name].” Of course, the Father has a wife. Her name is “El Shaddai,” the Almighty breasted One. “El” means Almighty and “Shad” is the Hebrew word for breast.

Although the ancient Hebrew scribes purposely and deliberately edited out the feminine endings to all the nouns throughout the Old Testament (and I have documented proof of that) they were not allowed to change the feminine colors in Rev 4 and Dan 10. In Isaiah 49 the Mother of our race is being accused of forsaking her children. “But Zion (Jerusalem)…said, the Lord has forsaken me, and my Lord has forgotten me. [And the Lord answered] Can a woman forget her nursing child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? Yes, they may forget, yet I (your true Mother) will not forget you.” Isa 49:15. So, who is this mother? According to Proverbs 8:22-31; Song of Solomon 4:9 and 5:1, she is the spouse of the Creator, Jesus Christ who referred to her in Matt 11:19. “But Wisdom (who was leading and guiding Him) is justified of her children.” Remember at His baptism the Dove came down on Him, symbolic of the Holy Ghost which entered into Him in Her fulness at that time and remained with Him throughout His ministry.

Christ’s statement about Wisdom being “justified” or “vindicated” by her children was in response to the Jewish leaders criticisms of Him being a “wine bibber and glutton.” If Wisdom is actually a secret code word and/or title for the Mother of this race in the Old Testament, as Proverbs 8 indicates, then who is she today? Well, if she was manifested on the Day of Pentecost as the “Comforter” who appeared in the Tongues of Fire on the heads of the disciples and filled and fitter her children at that time to preach the gospel to all the then known world She must also be that same Holy Ghost who is to be manifested in our day in this final segment of time during the Latter Rain, for our God never changes.

For those who wish to resist and refuse to believe this argument let me ask you. “Is there only a Father and a Son in the God head Paul mentions in Rom 1:19, 20?” Paul speaks boldly on this point: “For that which is known about God is evident to them and made plain in their inner consciousness, because God [Himself] has shown it to them. For ever since the creation of the world His invisible nature and attributes, that is, His eternal power and divinity, have been made intelligible and clearly discernible in and through the things that have been made…So they (mankind) are without excuse.” So, what is it that is clearly known by what He has made? Gen 1:26, 27. “Let US make man in our own image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over …. the earth.” Who are the US? Is it only two males? A Father and a Son? No, that would be impossible. Why? Because of the simple fact that Eve being a female would have to have a Mother who brought her forth or created her. The Holy Ghost and Holy Spirit throughout the Bible along with the Hebrew and Greek words Wisdom, Mercy and Comforter are all in the feminine. Sophia is the Greek counterpart of the Hebrew word Wisdom. Both are always in the feminine. As you read the rest of Romans 1 it becomes abundantly clear that Paul is exposing Satan’s distortion of God’s original plan via the sexual perversion of homosexuality which today has emerged in our society as the “Gay Agenda.”

This new age social phenomenon has become so powerful that it is now a “hate crime” to speak against this monstrous evil which is destroying the very fabric of the family in our culture and society today. Even a brief survey of history reveals that every society who permitted homosexuality to become the dominant lifestyle perished from the earth. Sodom and Gomorrah are two prime examples, exhibit A & B. And the same proved true in the Roman culture of which Paul was a citizen and was referring to in his day. “Does not skillful and godly Wisdom cry out, and understanding raise her voice?” Proverbs 8:1. The speaker here is obviously a woman, clearly personifying herself as the spouse of the Creator beginning in Vs 22. Here is a woman who existed before the world began and was every bit as much as a “master craftsman” and “builder” as Christ Himself whom we know to be the Creator of this planet via His heavenly Father. “Then I [Wisdom] was beside Him as a master and director of the work; and I was daily His delight, rejoicing before Him always. [Matt 3:17; John 1:2, 18].” Amplified. “Jerusalem, which is above is free, which is the Mother of us all.” Gal 4:26. Je=Jehovah in the feminine; Ru=Ruach or Spirit; Salem=Shalom or peace.”

In addition to all of the above let us remember that Jesus referred to Himself as “the Way, the Truth, and the Life.” I mention this for those who may think that Wisdom is just an idea or concept through which the Lord is speaking in Proverbs 8. Furthermore, Jesus Himself is called “Wisdom” in I Cor 1:30. “But of Him are you in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness and sanctification, and redemption.” Paul tells us that in Christ are “Hid all the treasures of Wisdom and knowledge.” Col 2:3. And we know that Jesus is not just an idea or concept, but a real person, even the Son of God, Jesus Christ. And so it is that the Holy Ghost, Wisdom, the Shekinah, the Angel of Mercy, who is Gabrielle, is also a very real person.

When Jesus was baptized at the Jordan the Holy Ghost came down upon Him, rested and remained upon Him which means she indwelt Him at that time. This is the same Hebrew word meaning “dwell or dwelt.” “And John bare record, saying, I saw the Spirit descending from heaven like a dove, and it abode upon Him.” John 1:32. The words “Remaining” or “remained” and “abode” are all from the same Greek word “Meno” which means to remain or dwell. Strong’s 3306. The Hebrew word “Shakan” also means “to dwell” and is where we get the word “Shekinah” or “Shekinah glory” which is the “feminine face of God.” In Hebrews 4:5, 8 Paul tells us that ancient Israel never “entered not in because of unbelief.” Strong’s 2663 & 2664.

The Hebrew word Paul uses is “katapausis” meaning “to settle down or colonize.” They wandered 40 years in the Sinai desert without ever allowing Jesus to abide or dwell in them. In fact, that whole generation of unbelievers died in the wilderness without ever settling down with the Lord…allowing Him to give them “rest.” That is what Jesus meant when He said, “Come unto me …and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and you shall find rest (salvation) unto your souls.” Matt 11:28-30. To become One with Jesus means to allow His Spirit (Holy Ghost) to abide or dwell in you…to set up house and become married to you. In Ruth 1:9 and 3:1 the Hebrew word translated “Rest” is “Menuehah” from Strong’s 4494 and 4496 and means to get married and settle down in a home with your husband.

Throughout the 4,000 years of the Old Testament, from the Fall of Adam until the birth of Christ, Michael and Gabrielle were learning how to do battle with Satan and to overcome him and his fallen, evil angels. Dan 10:12-21 is a special insight into this battle that Michael and Gabrielle waged all those millenniums. Michael is mentioned five times and Gabrielle in Daniel 8:16 and Luke 1:19, 26. Her name is also Wisdom and Holy Ghost. She has been kept “under wraps” as it were as we read in Joel 2:16. “Gather the people, sanctify the congregation, assemble the elders, gather the children, and those that suck the breasts (believers who are still on milk and not into the meat of the Word); let the bridegroom (Michael or Jesus) go forth of His chamber, and the bride out of her closet.” KJV. The NAS reads, “out of her bridal chamber.” And so they are getting reading for the “Marriage Supper of the Lamb.”

At His baptism, (Holy Ghost) came down and remained, abode and indwelt Jesus at the time of His baptism she then stayed with Him for 3 ½ years. All the information, knowledge and wisdom the Father and Mother had taught them both together about how to do battle with Satan was resident in the Holy Ghost so that when she went inside of Him, becoming part of Him, blending together perfectly with Him. And so it was at that time that “All the treasures of wisdom and knowledge” (Col 2:3) was given to Him in order for Him to fulfill His mission. Before His baptism, for 30 years, Jesus was an ordinary human being just like us, but when He was filled with the Wisdom of the Holy Ghost He became the second Adam. This means He had all of the gifts Adam had in order to fulfill His mission but He never used them in a selfish way for Himself. That is how He was able to walk on water, heal the sick, raise the dead and read people’s minds. He had power or authority over all of the elements of the earth as well as every human being, because He was/is our Creator. On the day of Pentecost this same Shekinah Glory entered into (indwelt) the 120 and gave them all of the gifts they used to found the Christian church. That was the early rain. The Latter Rain is coming and will be even more glorious. We will have the opportunity to also be filled with the same Shekinah Glory. The Hebrew word is “Abode” is from the Hebrew word “Yashab” Strong’s 3427. In John 1:39 Jesus invited two of John’s disciples to come and see where He “abode.” “They came and saw here he dwelt, and abode with him that day; for it was about the tenth hour.” That would have been about 4:00 PM Roman time or two hours before sunset.

I wrote about the Son and Daughter in my last book, “Into the Father’s Heart,” pages 336, 337 by showing the relationship between Michael and Gabriel in the book of Daniel where Gabrielle explains and reveals to Daniel that Michael and her are equals and working together side by side, albeit alone, as a team, against the enemy throughout the Old Testament period. If Michael is the Son of God, which we know He is, and Gabrielle is His equal, then this means she also is deity, even the daughter of the Most High, the Princess. Furthermore, in Luke 1:19 Gabrielle told Zechariah, the father of John the Baptist, “I stand in the Presence of God.”

As we have noted, Paul speaks about the family in heaven being the same as the family on earth. We all know that in this world the human race has both fathers and mothers. Everyone is born into this world in the same way, through the seed of a male, the Father, being planted into the uterus of the female, the Mother. The baby grows inside the mother’s womb for nine months and then is brought forth or born. Gen 1:26, 27 clearly states we, humanity, were created in the very likeness and image of God the Father and God the Mother. Now let’s talk about the daughter because there is also an only begotten Daughter as well as an only begotten Son.

I Found out in my research on the Dove tonight that in Song of Solomon Christ calls His Spouse, “My sister, My Spouse” and also “My Dove.” So, that tells us who the Dove really is, who anointed Jesus at His Baptism at the Jordan river. So, she now has these names: 1. Wisdom. 2. Shekinah. 3. Dove. Sister-Spouse of Christ. 4. Gabrielle (all old Testament) and in the NT she is 1. Holy Ghost (Her mother is the Holy Spirit). 2. Wisdom, Matt 11:19…Lk 7:35. “Wisdom is justified/vindicated by all of her children” (even those who do not know her yet and are not obedient yet…looking to the future.”

Christ is like a roe or a young hart.

Solomon called his book “The song of songs,” possibly indicating that Solomon considered it the most marvelous of the 1005 songs he wrote (I Kings 4:32). Some think it was written to celebrate his marriage to his first and favorite wife. Scholars who know Hebrew poetry consider this book to be a superb composition. Halley’s Handbook of the Bible. 306, 307. Possibly one third of it is prose or poetry. Hebrew poetry does not rhyme like English poetry. Two primary possibilities. 1. Imagery. 2. Parallelism. Superb composition but it makes sudden transitions with no explanation, therefore it is hard to follow and decipher.

In Hebrew the change of speakers is indicated by GENDER, i.e. male or female speaking and extra space. The Bride is the Shulamimite. The king is the speaker. I Kings 11:3. Solomon had 60 wives and 80 concubines in his harem when he wrote the Song of Solomon. Later it was 700 wives and 300 concubines. I Kings 11:3.

Background Title

The title in Hebrew reads ‘Solomon’s Song of Songs’. The Latin word is ‘Canticles’. The construction of ‘Song of Songs’ indicates that this is the greatest and highest of all songs, similar to ‘King of kings and Lord of lords’. (1 Timothy 6:15). Canon. The placement of the book in the canon of Scripture has been questioned by some on the basis that the word God is not found in the book and the New Testament does not quote from it. The same is true about the book of Esther. But the simple fact that it has always been placed among the other Old Testament books is strong reason for accepting it. The Jewish debate was resolved by the famous declaration of Rabbi Akiva where he highly regarded the book calling it the Holy of Holies and most holy of sacred writings.

Let us continue on again with Jesus and the 11 disciples as they approach the Garden. “In company with His disciples, the Saviour slowly made His way to the garden of Gethsemane. The Passover moon, broad and full shone from a cloudless sky. The city of pilgrims’ tents was hushed into silence. Jesus has been earnestly conversing with His disciples and instructing them; but as He neared Gethsemane, He became strangely silent. He had often visited this spot for meditation and prayer; but never with a heart so full of sorrow as upon this night of His last agony. Throughout

His life on earth He had walked in the light of God’s presence. (What EGW is expressing here is that He was born with His mind and entire being connected to the throne of God…to His Father’s mind, like Adam before the Fall) When in conflict with men who were inspired by the very spirit of Satan, He could say, ‘He that sent Me is with Me: the Father has not left Me alone; for I do always those things that please Him.’ John 8:29. But now He seemed to be shut out from the light of God’s sustaining presence. Now He was numbered with the transgressors (Isa 53:12). The guilt of fallen humanity He must bear. Upon Him who (previously) knew no sin must be laid the iniquity of us all. So dreadful does sin appear to Him, so great is the weight of guilt which He must bear, that He is tempted to fear it will shut Him out forever from His Father’s love. Feeling how terrible is the wrath of God against transgression, He exclaims, ‘My soul is exceeding sorrowful, even unto death.’” DA 685.

Someone may ask, “Do you consider this ‘New Light?” Well, let’s talk about “New Light.” In the past this phrase has been used to mean “New Truth.” But that is a misunderstanding of the word “light” itself. Webster’s dictionary does not define “light” as truth. Here is how it defines the word light: “Something that make things visible or affords illumination. Spiritual illumination or awareness; enlightenment. Mental insight, understanding. Bring to light, discover or reveal.” Let’s say that you walk into a room where there is very little light but you can see a few things. You don’t know where the light switch is and you don’t have a flashlight. But you spend some time looking around to see what you can find with the little light that you have. Suddenly you find the light switch, and wow, what a difference. Now you can really “see” what is in that room and find what you are looking for quickly. This is especially true at night time when you meet someone or are out looking at house or cars. The next day that car or house you really thought was great does not look so hot in the light of day. The same is true of people. When you see them in the day light you can see their face and body movements and look into their eyes and understand them and know so much more about them.

And that is the way it is with God and the Bible. As the Spirit shines her light on God’s word, the Bible we begin to see and understand old texts in a new light. This is what the pioneers called “Present Truth,” as they continued walking in the advancing light of the Third Angel’s message. And that is what we have to continue doing today as we approach the final seven year segment of this world’s history. Here are a few lines from a letter I just wrote to my younger sister tonight down in the L.A. area.

It is 3:15 a.m. and could not sleep as I went to bed “early” which was about 9:30 or 10. Am trying to get this last paper finished…got stuck on this long article in which I am trying to explain what really happened with Christ and His disciples at the Last supper (John 13) to John 18:1….It is one continuous discourse from about 6:00 a.m. until 10…about 4 hours, at least, in which Jesus was trying, for the last time, to bring the disciples up to a point where they would be ready spiritually to be translated in order to avoid the trial and cross and death of the Jewish nation at that time and thus cut short the Great Controversy about 2,000 years….and it could have been done based on “Conditional Prophecy…” Nineveh is but one example of this….” Same with Sodom … Abraham trying to save them…but failed. He was sure there were at least 10 good people over there in that wicked city who were not totally corrupt. Anyway, am trying to finish this article off tonight, so say a prayer for me as I try to explain that Jesus did not know he was going to sweat blood in Gethsemane that night. The Father unplugged Him and He fell into our dark dimension. This is what I am trying to explain and it is slow and tedious getting to the point….hope I can get it done before I get too sleepy. Also am going into great detail about how the angel Gabrielle began speaking to me directly last March 18th…totally blew me away. I will send you the whole article later when it is completed. It will also be in this last issue for the year along with other articles.

Earlier in this article I started to explain Jesus’ agenda that last night He was with His disciples and told them of His great desire to be with them before His sufferings began when He would be arrested, put on trial and crucified. Luke 22:15. Even though He had told them more than once that this was going to happen to Him they still didn’t grasp it, nor did they want to believe or understand what He was talking about. Each time He mentioned it to them they just blocked it out of their minds like Peter did when Christ told him that he would deny Him three times before the cock crew. “No, that is impossible Lord. I would never do that…I am ready to go to prison and death with you.” They also believed that it was totally impossible for the Messiah to die according to the traditional concept of the Messiah at that time. The whole Jewish nation believed that the Messiah would be a super hero like no other…greater than Moses, wiser than Solomon and Daniel put together and much more powerful than the mighty Samson. Even His own mother believed that.

In the disciples’ minds, at the time of the last Supper, from their perspective, everything they had watched Jesus do for 3 ½ years was just a prelude to what He was about to do when He finally went into the temple and proclaimed Himself king then sat down on the throne to reign and rule. Jesus knew all of this because the Father allowed Him to read their minds. He knew what they were thinking. So, this is His last chance to try and bring them up to a level of spirituality where they would accept Him as the kind of Messiah that He actually was. A harmless, suffering Messiah who would not use violence of any kind to accomplish His mission. This is what had to be demonstrated to the Heavenly Council before they would agree on a vote of acquittal for the Father. But as long as they continued to be carnally minded, striving among themselves for the highest position this was impossible. Yet, they sincerely believed their version of the kingdom they were waiting for Jesus to establish, was soon going to become a reality.

So, that is why Jesus shocked them all that night by humbling Himself to the level of a servant, kneeling down and washing their feet. They were not expecting this from their wonderful Lord and Master. They knew this was not typical of the leaders of their nation. Nor would the average Jew accept such an act as being characteristic of the Son of God who was about to become king. When did David or any of the kings of the past do such a thing. It was unheard of. When Peter protested Jesus told Him flat out that if He would not allow Him to perform this act of humility He could have no part with Him in His kingdom. I am sure everyone of the disciples felt the same way Peter did. As I have thought about this particular incident, which took place during that final meal, it has occurred to me that this was a big turning point for the disciples that night. It humbled their hearts so they could understand and see more clearly than they had ever seen before what Jesus had been trying to help them to see about Himself and about themselves. What each one of His parables and each one of His acts of mercy were really all about. I think it just all finally came together in their minds during that sacred time when He was washing their feet.

The reality of His true character and who He really was at long last sank into their selfish minds and they began to understand more clearly what He was trying to teach them the rest of the evening until they approached the Garden.

John 13 is the chapter on the feet washing. As soon as He finished washing the last disciple’s feet and Judas left the Upper Room Jesus began teaching them things He had been wanting them to hear for a long time. “Let not your heart be troubled…” He began. The events which were soon to transpire were not the end but a wonderful beginning. “Yes, I am going away, but it will only be for a short time, and then I will come back to be with you again.” Chapters 14, 15 and 16 are filled with profound truths which lifted those disciples to the highest level of spirituality they had ever experienced. So much so, that we read this wonderful declaration of faith from all eleven: “Then Jesus’ disciples said, ‘Now you are speaking clearly and without figures of speech. Now we can see that you know all things and that you do not even need to have anyone ask you questions. This makes us believe that you came from God.’” John 16:29, 30. NIV.

Jesus seemed to be happily surprised by this very positive affirmation from all eleven of the disciples. Finally, it seemed that they were all united with each other and with Him. This is what He had been hoping and praying for. He knew that Judas had gone to finalize the plans for His betrayal. Judas had always been a negative spirit among the disciples, often negating Christ’s teaching thus keeping the eleven from coming to a full understanding of all Jesus stood for and taught, preventing them from being fully united. Now, with Judas gone the Spirit had been able to bring both unity and understanding which led to that positive affirmation of faith in their Master. This evidently took place as they were walking to the Garden of Gethsemane because we read in the last verse of John 14 “Arise, let us go hence.” vs 31. So, John 15 and 16 are the words of instruction Jesus spoke after they left the Upper Room. We do not know how long it would ordinarily take to walk from the upper room to the Garden but if you read through John 15 to 17 slowly you might get an idea. They may have even stopped along the way more than once. It could have taken at least an hour, maybe two.

Now we come to John 17 once again to look at the deeper implications of this chapter more closely. “When Jesus had spoken these things, He lifted up His eyes to heaven and said, Father, the hour has come. Glorify and exalt and honor and magnify Your Son, so that your son may glorify and extol and honor and magnify you.” John 17:1, 2.

Is Christ talking about Himself here? No, He is talking in the second person, referring to Adam and the whole human race, which would include Himself, indirectly, since He had become a human being like us, in our fallen condition. This is the first time He has ever used this expression, “Your son.” Jesus never referred to Himself as “the Son of God or God the Son” although others applied that title to Him. He always referred to Himself as the “Son of man.” The reason for this was because He had become one of us in order to reveal to the world, the angelic realm, as well as to all the inhabitants of the unfallen worlds throughout the vast universe that even though we had fallen into this dark dimension God the Father still considered us His children, part of His own family. Notice in vs 4, 6 & 7 that He begins talking about Himself in the first person. “I have glorified you on the earth…I have manifested your name.” John 17:4, 6.

Organized religion has portrayed Jesus as being above and apart from the human race, especially since His return to heaven as our high priest. But He is no different now in His feelings and emotions as He was then. His personality has not changed. “Jesus Christ, the same yesterday, and today and forever.” Heb. 13:8.

Throughout His earthly sojourn here He was always trying to communicate to everyone how much He loved them and how much the Father loved them and longed for them to be with Him. This is what Michael and Gabrielle had been hoping for ever since they lost contact with their children in the Garden. Oh, how hard it has been to convince humanity who they really are. After He rose from the grave He told Mary, “Do not cling to Me (do not hold Me…delay Me), for I have not yet ascended to the Father. But go to my brethren and tell them, I am ascending to My Father and your Father, and to My God and your God.” John 20:17.

If you could go back in time and meet Jesus in person you would be surprised at how simple and unassuming He was. He loving, sweet and kind He was, very much like a lovingly child, if I could express it that way. As we know, little children are not judgmental until they reach a certain age. That was the way He was too. He never judged anyone or put anyone down. He was “Holy, harmless and undefiled.” Heb 7:26. The word “harmless” can also be translated “innocent and unsuspecting.” In His relationship with His heavenly Father Jesus was very childlike in that He was totally dependent upon His Father for everything from the time He arose in the morning until He went to bed at night. Just like little children are with their parents.

Now, in light of this brief description of His personality imagine how excited He was to hear His disciples give such a positive affirmation about their total belief in Him. So, what is His first response to this? He immediately stops along the path and in the presence of His disciples He looks up to heaven and begins talking to His Father about what has just happened. “Father, the hour has come at last…they are finally ready… Daddy, you heard what they just said! ” I recently saw a film on the life of Christ which showed this very thing, i.e. Jesus praying to His father, repeating the very words of John 17, but doing it in the presence of His disciples, not off somewhere by Himself. Traditionally we have thought this was part of what He was saying in His prayer in the Garden. But, no. This took place before He entered the Garden of Gethsemane.

I am sure that He must have been so very happy and also certain that He would be transfigured right on the spot. After all it had happened before on the Mt of Transfiguration when He was glorified in front of three of His disciples. And so He is asking for it to happen again in front of these 11 who have just made this incredible declaration of their total and undying faith. Listen to what He is saying: ” Father, the hour has come. Glorify and exalt and honor and magnify Your Son, so that Your Son may glorify and extol and honor and magnify you.” John 17:1. Amplified. What was the purpose and objective of Christ’s incarnation in the first place? It was to answer the devil’s false accusations against the whole God family, especially the Father who has remained silent since the beginning according to Psalm 50:20, 21. He has always spoken through His Son, the Holy Spirit and Holy Ghost. After the seventy returned with their reports of the success they had on their missionary journey, Luke 10:17, the first thing Jesus said was, “I beheld or saw Satan as lightning fall from heaven.” vs 18. In the original Greek it would read, “I am beholding or seeing or watching Satan falling from heaven.” The continuous of the original Greek was not included in the translation from the Greek to the English. The success of the seventy revealed that under the guidance of the Holy Ghost human beings could do the same works that Christ was doing.

This answered Satan’s accusations that humanity was beyond hope and unworthy of any consideration or help. In the days of Job Satan accused Job before the universal council of evil motives for serving the Lord. The devil was proved wrong by Job’s loyalty in refusing to curse God for his trials, losses and physical sufferings. And now Jesus was showing that humanity could do the same works as He did. Satan’s mask was being ripped off so the universe could see him for what he really was, a liar and murderer. In the eyes of the universe he was being cast down. Jesus was hoping that these demonstrations would convince the universal council that humanity was worthy of having the dominion returned to them, the dominion that been lost through the lies and deceptive power of Satan in the Garden of Eden. So now these eleven disciples for the first time declared their full, total and unreserved faith and belief in the Saviour. And Jesus, now, in child like faith says to His heavenly Father, “Daddy, they finally have seen the light…they all believe. My work is now completed…it is finished.” “I have glorified thee on the earth: I have finished the work which thou gavest me to do.”

The LB reads: “I brought glory to you here on earth by doing everything you told me to. And now, Father, reveal my glory as I stand in your presence, the glory we shared before the world began.” John 17:4, 5. As He continues on His pleading with His Father to give a further demonstration of the glory that was revealed to the three on the Mount of Transfiguration He becomes bolder. “I am no longer in this world…I am coming to you.” vs 11. He repeats this in vs 13 and then in vs 24 He asks that the disciples may also come with Him. “Father , I desire that they also whom You have entrusted to me may be with me where I am (going to be with you), so they may see my glory.” John 17:24.

But His prayer comes to an end and nothing happens. He is not translated like Elijah, nor is He even transfigured again as Matt 17:1-9. When He realized that He was not going to be transfigured or translated at that time He had not choice but to continue on to the Garden of Gethsemane to begin praying for the trial that He knew was about to begin when Judas brings the soldiers and mob to arrest Him. He obviously was under a lot of stress and sad that nothing happened. Notice this statement again: “In company with His disciples, the Saviour slowly (taking His time because He is trying to help them understand in the short time He has left before He is arrested) made His way to the garden of Gethsemane. The Passover moon, broad and full, shone from a cloudless sky. The city of pilgrims’ tents was hushed into silence. (It is now about 9 or 10 PM) Jesus had been earnestly conversing with His disciples and instructing them; but as He neared Gethsemane, He became strangely silent.”

This is from chapter 74 of Desire of Ages, page 685. This inspired author talks about how Christ had always walked in the light of God’s presence, but now He seems to be shut out from the light of God’s sustaining presence. His request to be glorified and translated had met with silence. But now, in addition to that, something very strange, mysterious and terrible is happening to Him which He had never before experienced. “Then Jesus went with them (disciples) to a place called Gethsemane, and He told His disciples, Sit down here while I go over yonder and pray. And taking with Him Peter and the two sons of Zebedee, He began to show grief and distress of mind and was deeply depressed. Then He said to them, My soul is very sad and deeply grieved, so that I am almost dying of sorrow. Stay here and keep awake and keep watch with Me. And going a little farther. He threw Himself upon the ground on His face and prayed saying, My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass away from Me; nevertheless, not what I will [not what I desire], but as You will and desire. And He came to the disciples and found them sleeping…” Matt 26:36-39 Amplified.

“As Christ felt His unity with the Father broken up, He feared that in His human nature He would be unable to endure the coming conflict with the powers of darkness.” DA 686. Satan knew that this was his last chance to cause Christ to react negatively in some way, thus committing a sin like Moses did when he lost his temper. “Now the tempter had come for the last fearful struggle. For this he had been preparing during the three years of Christ’s ministry. Everything was at stake with him. If he failed here, his hope of mastery was lost; the kingdoms of the world would finally become Christ’s; he himself would be overthrown and cast out.” DA 686, 687.

There is one very important point I need to explain. Michael and Gabrielle have always been on a need to know basis. This did not change when He became a human being. Therefore, Jesus did not know that His light connection with the father was going to be disconnected or unplugged. This took Him by surprise. He knew that Judas had gone to seal the deal or agreement he had made with the priests to betray Christ into their hands. He also knew that He would be arrested, scorned, mocked, beaten, put on trial and crucified. He had been warning the disciples all along this would happen. Yet, He tried His best to convince the Jewish leaders that He truly was the Messiah so they would accept Him and repent. He held out this hope to the very last, as we have already read from Desire of Ages, 577-579. Christ was in good physical condition from all the walking and hiking He did every day so He figured that He could survive the beatings and the cross, especially if the Father strengthened Him. So, He was counting on the support of His Father’s Presence and the Holy Ghost inside of Him to comfort, guide and sustain Him.

But when He realized that He had been disconnected from His Father’s throne He was terrified that He would not be able to endure the emotional trauma of this separation which had always sustained. So, He turned to His disciples for emotional and spiritual support but found them sleeping.

So, they turned out to be no help at all. This was, of course, a great disappointment to Him because upon them depended the survival and growth of the church that He had already started with these eleven disciples. Again He goes and pleads with His Father for a change of plans but receives no answer. “Please remove this cup from Me. I cannot stand it.” Since His baptism Gabrielle has been inside of Him, leading and guiding Him. But now she is told by the Father to also withdraw that Christ may sense and endure all that Adam felt when he and Eve were disconnected and fell into this dimension of darkness. The disciples are permitted to see her, so they can record it later when they write their memoirs/report (gospels). “And there appeared to Him an angel from heaven, strengthening Him in spirit. And being in agony [of mind], He prayed all the more earnestly and intently, and His sweat became like great clots of blood dropping down upon the ground.” Luke 22:44. Amplified version. Dr. Luke, being a physician, is the only one of the four gospel writers to mention this blood sweating incident which is a phenomenon called “Diapedisis” which I explain in great detail in my book, “INTO THE FATHER’S HEART,” which you can have free with any order and/or donation. I believe the reason they could see her is so they would know that she was no longer inside of Him, guiding Him, as before. He had to experience everything the first Adam and his wife Eve went through when they were disconnected because of their fear. And after Jesus was disconnected He also had a terrible fear of eternal death. It was at this time He began to realize what the human race was up against and it traumatized Him to the point where He began sweating blood. The gospels record that a various times He was both shocked, astonished and saddened because of the little faith He saw among people, even His own disciples. When Peter tried to walk on the water and then sank He said to Him, “Oh you of little faith. Why did you doubt?” Matt 14:31. “And He marveled because of their unbelief.” Mark 6:6. Mark 4:40 records His rebuke when they were afraid they were going to die in the storm at sea. “Master, carest thou not that we perish? And He arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace, be still. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm. And He said unto them, Why are you so fearful? How is it that you have no faith? And feared exceedingly, and said one to another, What manner of man is this, that even the wind and the sea obey Him?” He saw this kind fear and unbelief everywhere He went. No wonder He prayed so much for strength to endure it. 9 19 mk “And Jesus answering said, O faithless and perverse generation, how long shall I be with you, and suffer you?” Luke 9:41; Mark 9:19. Matt 17:17. Mark 4:40. ” Our Lord met this so often that when He occasionally met some who actually did have faith we read that He was shocked. The centurion was one example. “When Jesus heard it, He marveled, and said to them that followed, Verily I say unto you, I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel.” Matt 8:10. But when the Father unplugged His connection with Him and He is lowered into our dark dimension He truly is astonished and shocked. It had to be an “Aha” moment when He surely said to Himself, “No wonder they have such a hard time understanding and believing…this is so terrible!” But this is what the Father knew His only Son and only Daughter had to experience in order to become our high priest and minister to us at the very lowest points of our need. “For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin. Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.” Heb 4:15, 16. Paul also tells us that we can look to Jesus who is the “Author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God. For consider Him that endured such contradiction of sinners against Himself, lest you be wearied and faint in your minds. You have not yet resisted unto blood, striving against sin.” Heb 12:2-4.

In DA 688 we read: “How dark seemed the malignity of sin! (Until He was disconnected He did not realize how horrible this dimension of darkness really is) Terrible was the temptation to let the human race bear the consequences of its own guilt, while He stood innocent before God. If He could only know that His disciples understood and appreciated this, He would be strengthened.” But they didn’t have a clue as to what was going on. Nor had He expected this Himself but now He is realizing that this is part of the educational process He must go through to make the atonement and reconciliation. Isaiah, the gospel prophet, 800 years before saw this scene in vision. “Who is this who comes from Edom, with crimson-stained garments from Bozrah [in Edom]? This One who is glorious in His apparel, striding triumphantly in the greatness of His might? It is I, [the One] who speaks in righteousness [proclaiming vindication], mighty to save! Why is Your apparel splashed with red, and Your garments like the one who treads in the winepress? I have trodden the winepress alone, and of the peoples (even His own disciples and mother) there was no one with me…And I looked, but there was no one to help; I was amazed and appalled that there was no one to uphold [truth and right]. So my own arm brought me victory.” Isaiah 63:1-5.

There are several aspects and facets (sides) of the true personality and character of Jesus the theologians have never explained in their writings. First of all, He was “Holy, harmless, undefiled.” Heb 7:26. The Christ the theologians like to picture to the public is the one who is driving out the money changers from the temple. They never tell you that He never hit or even touched anyone with that improvised whip in His hand. And that what drove the money changers out was their own guilty conscience when He looked at them with His eyes of compassion and love. Don’t get me wrong. Our Lord was not a wimp but neither was He the macho hero many have tried to make him out to be like they do with the old testament stories about David killing Goliath and Samson wiping out a thousand Philistines with the jawbone of a donkey. What I am striving for is a balance in order to present the real Jesus Christ to the world. I think that Mel Gibson’s movie, in spite of its Catholic emphasis and Mariology excesses showed the incredible courage and bravery of Jesus to be willing to endure the endless whippings and beatings and then to pray to the Father to forgive them when He is nailed to the cross. That is truly the most macho act any man has ever performed.

The Greek word for harmless can also be translated “innocent, blameless and unsuspecting.” Jesus was not the kind of person who ever suspected evil of anyone. “For He said, Surely they are my people, children that will not lie; so He was (became) their Saviour.” Isa 63:9. And Gabrielle is like that too, probably even to a greater degree, being a mother. So, just as the Father suffered with His only son, so the only daughter also suffered, as did the Mother. “Although He was a Son, He learned [active, special] obedience through what He suffered.” Heb 5:8. Amplified. The strength the angel Gabrielle gave to Him sustained Him all the way through the trial and cross. She had gone to the Father to plead for His life, “Daddy, Daddy, He is dying…please don’t let Him die.” “In this awful crisis, when everything was at stake, when the mysterious cup trembled in the hand of the sufferer, the heavens opened, a light shone forth amid the stormy darkness of the crisis hour, and the might angel who stands in God’s presence (meaning she is deity herself being the only daughter of the Most High)…came to the side of Christ.”

“The angel (Gabrielle) came not to take the cup from Christ’s hand, but to strengthen Him to drink it, with the assurance of the Father’s love. She pointed Him to the open heavens, telling Him of the souls that would be saved as the result of His sufferings. She assured Him that His Father is greater and more powerful than Satan, and that His death would result in the utter discomfiture of Satan, and that the kingdoms of this world would be given to the saints of the Most High. (Rev 11:15; 12:10). She told Him that He would see the travail of His soul, and be satisfied….The sleeping disciples had been suddenly awakened by the light surrounding the Saviour. They saw the angel bending over their prostate Master. They saw Her lift the Saviour’s head upon her bosom, and point toward heaven. They heard Her voice, like sweetest music, speaking words of comfort and hope. The disciples recalled the scene upon the mount of transfiguration. They remembered the glory that in the temple had encircled Jesus, and the voice of God that spoke from the cloud. Now that same glory was again revealed, and they had no further fear for their Master. He was under the care of God; a mighty angel had been sent to protect Him. Again the disciples in their in their weariness yield to the strange stupor that overpowers them. Again Jesus finds them sleeping.” DA 693, 694.

Now, I want to share one additional statement which clearly shows how Michael & Gabrielle were trying to save the Jewish nation from committing the terrible crime of putting their Creator on trial, mocking Him and torturing Him and the crucifying Him. This would be their last effort to stop their murderous plans. After Gabrielle strengthened Him He arose and found the disciples sleeping once more. This made Him very sad but He did not berate them but only told them the mob was coming led by His betrayer. But even then He did not expose Judas by saying His name. They would soon find out and what a shock it must have been to them to see Judas leading these cruel and wicked priests and rulers. “No traces of His recent agony were visible as Jesus stepped forth to meet His betrayer. Standing in advance of His disciples He said, ‘Whom seek ye?’ They answered, ‘Jesus of Nazareth.’ Jesus replied, ‘I am He.’ As these words were spoken, the angel who had lately ministered to Jesus moved between Him and the mob. A divine light illuminated the Saviour’s face, and a dovelike form (Gabrielle or Holy Ghost) overshadowed Him. In the presence of this divine glory, the murderous throng could not stand for a moment. They staggered back. Priests, elders, soldiers, and even Judas, fell as dead men to the ground. The angel withdrew, (giving them a chance to change their minds, not taking away their free will) and the light faded away. Jesus had opportunity to escape, but He remained, calm and self-possessed. As one glorified He stood in the midst of that hardened band, now prostrate and helpless at His feet. The disciples looked on, silent with wonder and awe. But quickly the scene changed.” DA 694, 695. We know the rest of the story.

“Then said Jesus unto His disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me.” Matt 16:24; Luke 9:23; 14:27; Mark 8:38; 10:21. From the life of Christ we see a total willingness to sacrifice Himself at each step of the way. And the final outcome was the glorious resurrection from the dead. And this is what He promises all who follow Him.

When my maternal grandmother, Oolah Clemons, was descended from English and Dutch Holland stock. She grew up in Anderson, Indiana. She had five children. She was a great woman of faith and of the scriptures. Each day she had her time of prayer and my mother said she could see the light of the Holy Spirit in her eyes and face after those one hour prayer times. She died young, in her mid 50’s of cancer of the stomach. In her last days at Mercy Hospital, in Indianapolis, Indiana, about April 1944, she suffered greatly. But she kept up her prayer life and study of the Bible until the very last. One of her favorite books was “Early Writings” because it was a small, light book to hold in her weakened condition. They gave her cobalt treatments which caused a severe burning in her stomach.

I can still vividly remember how much my mother wept because of her mother’s suffering during her final battle with cancer. Mother told me that before she died Grandma Clemons said to her: “Daughter my suffering has been so great that I feel that I have been through the Garden of Gethsemane with Jesus.” But knowing what Jesus had endured for her strengthened and sustained her through her final ordeal. I was only seven years old when she died but I remember the few times that my brother and I stayed with her in her humble house in Frankton, Indiana. I have always felt that she passed on the spiritual gifts for Bible study and prayer to my mother and myself. My uncle, now deceased, and a first cousin also became ministers as a result of her influence and prayers. I also believe that there was a very special and divine purpose for her having to suffer like that. What it was and is remains a mystery to me but I will always believe that something supernatural was gained and passed on to my mother and her family because of what Grandma Clemons endured. Beyond just the faith and courage to never give up her faith no matter how much pain she had to endure. Maybe someday I will understand and know what it is. I am sure the Father will explain it all to us when we finally are able to come into His presence, which I believe will happen in our lifetime.

Remember that Jesus had a wave sheaf offering from the dead saints in the past from Adam to the cross, including many martyrs whom (a group of people who were trophies of His triumph) He took to heaven when He rose from the grave on the first day of the week. Psalm 24:7-10; Eph 4:8. When Jesus cried out “It is finished” John 19:30 (John is the only gospel writer who records this saying) the graves of many of the saints were opened and came out of their graves after the resurrection , and went into the holy city , and appeared to many. Matt 27:50-53. This is going to happen again according to Dan 12:1-3 when Michael (another name for Jesus Christ) stands up to defend His people because a death decree has been passed against them. This will be the commencement of the Big Time of Trouble and the beginning of the second 3 ½ years of the last seven years of this age. Compare Ezek 37:1, 11-14; Mal 3:16-18; Mal 4:5, 6; Matt 13:43; Matt 25:1-4; Rev 20:1-5.

Notice this insightful statement from the servant of the Lord about this special time during which saints from the past will be raised, including herself. She did state that she saw that she would be with the 144,000 but not among them, i.e. not one of their number, because they will be chosen/selected from among the living but since she died in 1915 she will have to rise in that special resurrection Daniel writes about in Dan 12:1-4 regarding “Many that sleep in the dust” who will arise. Some of them who are raised in this special resurrection, at the time of the Barley Harvest (the Elect) will appear to many, just like the ancient old testament saints did in the city of Jerusalem after Jesus arose. They will no doubt go all over the world and appear to many. “And many of those who sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake: some to everlasting life and some to shame and everlasting (age lasting) contempt and abhorrence. [John 5:29]. And the teachers and those who are wise shall shine like the brightness of the firmament, and those who turn many to righteousness (to uprightness and right standing with God) .shall give forth light] like the stars forever. [Matt 13:43].” What an exciting time that is going to be. Who could argue with a risen saint who is shining like the sun, as bright as Jesus Himself when He appeared to Saul of Tarsus? So, this takes place at the time of Barley Harvest and goes on for 40 days which is the same number of days Jesus was on earth before the Day of Pentecost. Just think of the great love, mercy and wisdom of God in bringing back people from the past, who died in their sins, but are now being raised in order to see the final events and have another opportunity to accept or reject. And, of course, some of them again fall into sin, and therefore they will “awake or rise to shame and age last contempt.” But some do accept and will be with those who are taken to heaven. Those who reject will, of course, die again in their sins. But they will be raised at the end of the 1,000 years to live again for about 100 years on this earth. See Isaiah 65:20. Rev 20 refers to this period as “A little season.” I have defined this little season as being about 100 to 120 years based on the use of that phrase in the life of Moses who chose to reject becoming Pharaoh by trying to deliver his own people from slavery. His heart was right but his method was wrong so he had to go out into the desert for 40 years in order to learn God’s plan and methods for delivering His people. And so it will be with many in our day. They will have to learn the hard way…the long way home. This will also be the period of the “Lake of Fire” which I have explained in great detail in my last two books, “INTO THE FATHER’S HEART,” and “A COMMENTARY ON REVELATION; with references to Daniel.” The first one is free with any order and/or donation, if you ask for it. The second one is for a donation of only $10.95. The servant of the Lord has written the following on this same time period. “Your work, my work, will not cease with this life. For a little while we may rest in the grave, but, when the call comes, we shall, in the kingdom of God, take up our work once more.” Test. Vol 7, p 17. Compare Early Writings 269-273.

The Greek word for “finished” is teleo (Strongs’ 5055)– meaning to “To conclude, make an end or expire.” “Jesus thought he had finished the work he had been sent to do before He entered the Garden. John 17:1-3; John 4:34. The Greek word there is from (Teleioo) meaning to complete or accomplish, 5048). As we have already noted, when Jesus heard the disciples say that they ALL truly believed in Him 100% He thought that He had “finished and completed” the work His Father had sent Him to do. But was that true? Had He actually, in fact, completely finished the work? He had completed one phase of it but it was not yet “complete.

So, the answer is “No He had not “finished” the work although He thought that He had because the disciples had changed so much during the long hours He had been talking with them, trying to help them to understand and believe. And they declared such a strong affirmation in His favor He was sure the Father would accept that as a completed mission. So, why didn’t the Father “glorify” Him in front of the disciples and take Him up to the throne of God? The answer is that the heavenly council was not yet convinced so they had not yet voted in favor of the Father because all of Satan’s lies had not yet been fully exposed. So, an additional demonstration had to be made which would break our hearts and open our eyes. And I think that is part of what Gabrielle was sent to tell Him. Notice that after she appeared to Him (Lk 22:43) that His suffering and agony increased. “And being in an agony [of mind], He prayed [all the] more earnestly and intently, and His sweat became like great clots of blood dropping down upon the ground.”

And that is what the cross accomplished as we finally read that the good thief changed his mind and by asking Christ to remember Him when He came into His kingdom cast his vote in favor of Jesus, thus acknowledging that Jesus truly was the Messiah. This was the necessary third vote that was necessary for the Heavenly or Universal Council to vote in favor of the Father. See Deut 19:15. The Father was the first witness. Jesus was the second and now, at long last, at the very last minute, the most unlikely human being casts that third and deciding vote in favor of the Saviour. “I am One that bear witness of myself, and the Father that sent Me bears witness of Me.” John 8:18. This was very close to the 9th hour when the lights came back on. At that moment Jesus knew then that the Heavenly Council had voted in favor of His Father and that is when He cried out: “It is Finished or it is Accomplished.” I have wondered what it will take in our day to convince the heavenly council once again to declare, “IT IS DONE or FINISHED”? This is something we need to be in deep personal contemplation and prayer about as we continue to study on God’s true character of love. I know that some of you reading this article may have endured many trials yourself that no one really knows about except Jesus Himself. It is not wrong to share that testimony if it will glorify our wonderful and Blessed Redeemer. So, far I have not revealed the terrible ordeals that I have had to go through all these years, especially the sufferings I had to go through in ordeal to get the last edition of “INTO THE FATHER’S HEART” published in Sept of 2005. But it was worth it. This last book, “A COMMENTARY ON REVELATION; with references to Daniel” was also an arduous task but not as bad as “INTO THE FATHER’S HEART.” That book truly is a supernatural act of the Lord for which I do not take any credit. Jesus did it all, praise His holy name. Feel free to share your own testimony with me.

That is all I am going to write on this subject for right now. This article has taken many long hours and days due to the fact that I have to stop often and look up Hebrew and Greek words and check other references and the various translations to see which is the most accurate translation. What I have written here is an expansion of what I put on two 90 min audio cassette tapes one day. It was not planned but just happened when I called Nick one day and decided to record our conversation. One of my readers and supporters who is also a good researcher told me he has listened to that tape six times and is making copies and sending it out to his friends. No one is more amazed than yours truly. May Jesus name be praised even for the many interruptions due to phone calls, having to eat, sleep, answer letters, fill orders and just the usual daily routine of life. But through it all the Lord has preserved my life from death or injury on the highway as I drive around each day to do business and errands. And I believe that He will continue to do that until He comes again. This is my hope and prayer for each of us. Your friend always in the power and love of the Lord Jesus. Your friend and servant in Him. Pastor-Evang. Mike Clute.
